can we help?

As chiropractors, we specialize in the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal injuries. What does that mean? We treat injuries that involve the soft tissues (connective fascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves), in addition to joint related injuries.

These injuries occur when the load or stress on a tissue exceeds the capacity of the tissue. This load, stress or force can be acute or sudden in the case of a fall or quick movement, or subtle and over a long period of time, which we refer to as microtrauma.

An example of microtrauma would be in the case of postural stress, such as sitting for prolonged periods of time, or a repetitive task that injures the tissues over a period of time, such as typing.

Every individual undergoes a comprehensive case history and a examination to determine the etiology of the condition and the best course of treatment.

If after consultation and examination we determine that your case is not appropriate for chiropractic care, we will refer you to the proper health care practitioner.

We have built relationships with the finest health care professionals over the many years we have been in practice.

Our team of chiropractic physicians will do their best to determine the underlying cause of your condition and not just treat the symptoms.

We will discuss possible perpetual factors, specific rehabilitative exercises, and stretches to help expedite your recovery, as well as reduce the likelihood the same condition returns in the future.

Women’s Health

Women Are Different...

vAnd we have different needs when it comes to musculoskeletal care—especially when it comes to being active and striving for optimal performance in life and sport.

Oftentimes in healthcare, women are treated in the same manner as men. The fact of the matter is that our bodies are not the same. We have a different structure, therefore we need a little different approach.

Regardless of your chronological age, you deserve the best in specialized professional care. For the teenager, the grad student, the research scientist, the new mom, the not-so-new mom, or the retiree, your needs are given individualized attention at Khalsa Chiropractic Office.

During pregnancy, many women develop various musculoskeletal complaints due to rapid development, hormonal changes, laxity of connective ligaments, and shifts in weight-bearing structures. Any distortions in the anatomical structures of the pelvis may make the birthing process more difficult. The women's health specialists at Khalsa Chiropractic utilize gentle soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques to help reduce myofascial restrictions and distortions within the pelvis, providing greater comfort for mom, as well as creating an ideal in utero environment for the baby.
